Lighthearted Leaves

I seem to get a lot done while having a long weekend--like stamping and scheduling posts!  Lighthearted Leaves is such a versatile set.  I've seen it used so many ways.  Yes, I'm a Pinterest junkie :)  One more sample of what we're' doing a Sat.  No bundle for this one.  You may already have the Leaflets Framelits from the SU catalog, so all you need are the stamps and the new Brick Embossing Folder.  If placing an online order by Monday, please use Hostess Code DWBJA2KR

If Only---

In the AV, we usually have one day that feels like Fall after Summer is over.  Will that day ever come with this heat?  I want to feel the cool (not cold) breeze and maybe even have to wear closed toed shoes :)  This card does feel like Autumn to me even if it's 90+ degrees outside!  Yes, you can make this one on Sat., too.  Oh-- it's also in a bundle!
Notice the word elements for the words---you can add color to the word simply by pressing it into a stamp pad. I got to use NEW Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the words.  Super quick and easy!
Ordering Online?? Please use Hostess Code DWBJA2KR ; good through Monday, 9/14.

It's Been a While

Love long weekends!!  It gives me a little time to catch up---Here is one of the projects for next Sat's Stamp Camp.  Are you coming??  The NEW 2015 Holiday Catalog is up and available.  Let me know if you haven't gotten yours and I'll send you one.  It's one of my favorites from SU.

Do you notice?  This project using items from a bundle--which means 15% savings when it's ordered.  The Square Pillow Box Thinlits Die is the perfect size to fill with candy, jewelry, or any other small surprise.
The label is made with the Curvy Corner Trio Punch--it's a versatile punch that cuts 3 different corners and a ribbon slide.  The NEW Tear and Tape Adhesive is great to use on this box.

Watercolor Words Hope

We all need hope now and then--sometimes emphasis on the "more."  This card is a loving way to show that---Susie

·
1.    Squeeze some Blushing Bride Re-inker in the lid of the Blushing Bride Ink Pad.  Use Aqua Painter and re-inker to watercolor entire background of Dot DSP layer.  The more water, the lighter the background will be.  The more re-inker, the darker the background will be.  Start with less re-inker…you can always add more, but you can’t re-lighten.
a.    The paper may be a little wet.  Set aside to dry.
2.    Punch one heart from white scrap and one heart from blushing scrap.  Put a rhinestone on each.  Set aside
3.    Create Breast Cancer Awareness Ribbon with Blushing Bride Ribbon, using glue dots to adhere corners and cross section.
a.    Use Glue Dot to attach White Heart.
b.    Set aside
4.    Stamp “Hope” in Blushing Bride Ink on Whisper White layer.
a.    Use Glue Dot to attach Blushing Bride Heart.
b.    Set aside
5.    Use SNAIL to adhere Blushing Bride Layer to Notecard.
6.    Use SNAIL in center and glue dots around edges to adhere DSP layer (the glue dots will help with the warping from wetting the paper during watercoloring).
7.    Use dimensionals to adhere Hope layer.
8.    Use glue dots to adhere Ribbon
