Sunflowers Make Me Smile :)

I'm not sure why, but sunflowers always put a smile on my face!

I guess they make my heart happy---Here's a happy card created by Su Mohr.  Take your Sunflower die and play it over different scraps of DSP until you find one that you like the look and colors. Here's a pic of the card we did in last week's class--

The card base and top layer were done in Basic White using Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folders. This sunflower started with a scrap from the gorgeous Fine Art Floral DSP, cut with the "solid" Sunflowers Die.  The "frame" of the flower was cut from Thick Basic White Cardstock, and glues together in the center only to leave the petals free.  The flower center was cut out of Metallic Cardstock and attached with Dimensionals.
The sentiment is from the Ornate Thanks Set, but any one you like will do.  Stamp it in Balmy Blue and cut with the smallest Stitched Rectangles Die.
The cute, little bird was die cut with Well Written Die from the same DSP used for the flower base and attached with a Dimensional.
I hope it puts a smile on your face---Susie  :)
