Lazy Daisy Swiping Card

Here's a different way to use an embossing folder.  The Lazy Daisy Embossing Folder is perfect for "ink swiping" technique.  Thanks to Patty Bennett for the great idea!  The key to this method is "lightly" swipe the ink.

Begin with a piece of card stock--I used the Two-Tone Hydrangea Hue 12x12 paper.  I like the contrast of a light side and a darker side.  First, stamp the flowers from the Radiant Sunflowers in black on a 2" x 5" piece of white cardstock. Color in with Blueberry Bushel and Hydrangea Hue Blender Pens.  Lay at angle on cardstock; die cut together using the the largest new  Scalloped Christmas Cheer dies.

Then, take off the daisies and emboss just the Hydrangea Hue card stock with the Lazy Daisy Embossing Folder. Now comes the "swiping" and remember "lightly."  First use the Hydrangea Hue ink, then the Blueberry Bushel.  You can always go darker, but not lighter.

Adhere daisies to embossed piece; then adhere to card front.  Stamp a sentiment of your choice and trim, if necessary.  Add a piece of ribbon to back of sentiment and adhere to card front with dimensionals. You're done!
