Painted Pumpkins

I hope you're having a good Thursday!  I saw this card that StampwithAmyK did and knew I wanted to share it at my class next week and with all of you.  It uses masks and blending brushes, so it's a bit different.

The different shading in the pumpkins add depth and I was surprised at how easy it was to die cut the pumpkins in groups of three.

Begin with a Basic White cardbase; emboss a 4 x 5-1/4" white card stock with Rustic Check 3D embossing folder; adhere to card front. Stamp the two groups of pumpkin images from the Painted Pumpkins stamp set in Cajun Craze and Golden Glow inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.

Use the Painted Pumpkins Decorative Masks and Blending Brushes to stencil the pumpkin images with Golden Glow and Petal Pink inks.  Cut the images with the coordinating Painted Pumpkins Dies.  Then I stamp the leaf images from the Painted Pumpkins stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.

Color the leaf images with Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends Markers and then cut them out with the coordinating Painted Pumpkins Dies.  Adher five of the pumpkins and the leaves die cuts to the card front with Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals. 

Stamp the sentiment from the Painted Pumpkins stamp set in Cajun Craze ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with the sentiment die from the Words & Wishes Dies.   Adhere the die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added two dots from the Painted Patch Adhesive-Backed Dots to finish the card front.

Adher the remaining die cut pumpkin to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
