Encircled in Warmth

Good Morning---it's definitely gotten cold here in the desert; even have snow on the mountains and a freeze warning!  So, why not have a card that embraces that?  This is the card I'm swapping today at my Beginners Card Class Luncheon.  Hoping it puts everyone in a Wintery mood.  What do you think?  Have a wonderful week---Susie

Thanksgiving Idea

Pretty Pumpkins make a beautiful Thanksgiving card!  This project has lots of layers and textures.  Notice the Thanksgiving die and some of leaves are cut from Cork Paper.  Add to the look just a bit more.  Even the white cardstock has texture.

Supplies used:  Basic White, Pool Party, Soft Succulent CS;  Pool Party, Cinnamon Cider inks; Cork Paper, In Good Taste, 2021-2023 In Color DSP; Pretty Pumpkins Bundle; Word Wishes, Stitched with Whimsy dies; Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.

Don't forgot---Seasonal Sale ends on Thursday; get cardstock, inks, and dies at a discount!!

Time of Giving

Good Morning!!!  Here are two of the projects from my last class. They both use the Time of Giving bundle from the Holiday Mini.  Love it when products can be used in different ways--

"Thankful" uses Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen, and Pumpkin Pie.  Tidings of Christmas DSP works perfectly for the pumpkin tags. I only had to die cut once by placing the Giving Gifts die inside the Tailor Made Tag.  Pine Needles from the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder adds to the background.  The leaves die from this bundle and a few gems complete the look.

The Santa card use Real Red, Soft Suede, and Basic White.  Again, Santa and the reindeer tag were placed inside the Tailor Made tag and die cut once time.  Snowflakes from Wintry 3D Embossing Folder added the needed texture.  A few die cut snowflakes adds just the right amount of Winter.

Delivering Cheer--Lots of Ideas

The Delivering Cheer stamp set in the Fall has become one of my BIGGEST FAVORITES!!  I've seen it used to so many different ways.  Pinterest is almost always my first stop for ideas.  Since I'm a visual learning, I need to see how stamps are used to get excited about them.  Well, Delivering Cheer really stimulated me.  I was a bit on overload! I've pinned so many ideas. So of course, we made these last week in my classes--(Be sure to see my special offer below)

The first card was Case'd from Robyn Cardon

It uses Harvest Meadow Designer Paper - I used different paper combos since I needed enough paper for 20 cards.  The Stampatatus was perfect for lining up the top and bottom half of the girl.  Inked in Black Memento ink and colored with Stampin' Blends.

The second card was Case'd from Patty Bennett

Look closely at her skirt; the stamp was stamped a second time on Designer Paper, the cut out and adhered to the stamped image.  There are two different dress/skirts to choose from -  the possibilities for designs are endless.  Also, her red boots were made to look like vinyl by adding Shimmery Crystal Effects.

Here are two more ideas, both from Karen Ksenzakovic.

When you order Delivering Cheer (156368 $18) and YOUR choice of any 3 pairs of Stampin' Blends by Wednesday, November 3rd, I'll send you Shimmery Crystal Effects as my thank you and so you can add shine to your projects.  Click Here to Shop or email me your order.  :)

3 projects & a Cute Baby

It's October!!!  Where has the time gone?  I must confess I've been a bit preoccupied with Jamie---but God continued to bless me with new friends to stamp with.

I spent a week in Thousand Oaks and got my baby fix--love those lips!

October is wonderful here in the desert, cooler temps (in the 80's) and open windows at night.  For those of you who ordered online from me during September, I'll be sending a thank you goody.

Here are pics from the projects from my class this past week.

This card is inspired by Mary Knabe.  The DSP is 6x6, so it's easy to make a variety of cards.  The Stitched with Whimsy dies add just a bit of texture. Don't you just love the kitty peeking out of the pumpkin?

Gorgeous Leaves is definitely in my top ten list for versatile sets.  Evening Evergreen adds class.  There's shimmer on the leaf--not sure you can see it--after stamping the speckles in Crumb Cake, let it dry before stamping the leaf.  Then quickly emboss with clear powder and you will get the leaf to shine!

Christmas Whimsy is one of Stampin' Up!'s card kits.  The kit contains everything you need to create eight elf-centric Christmas cards including printed card bases, die cuts, embellishments, an exclusive stamp set, a Night of Navy Classic Stampin’ Spot, and more!  See this kit and others online.

This is my new Hostess Code W42FMP7K to use on your Online Store orders of $50 to $149.99. If your order is $150 or more, do not use the code as you will earn your own free rewards. Please use this code when checking out of your shopping cart.  Also, you'll earn the Wonderful Gems as a gift from me.
