Card Projects from Last Week

This time of year, the days seem to be flying by!!!  Since I had a few moments before I get back into decorating the tree and house, I wanted to share with you the cards that were made last week in my classes.  I hope you'll enjoy them as much as the paper crafters did in my home.  The first two are designed by Susan Campfield (one of favorite designers) and the third one is by Bonnie O'Neill.  :)

This fold is called a Gatefold card.  It's great for those leftover pieces of DSP.

Using a Z fold always makes a card interesting, especially the intricate die.

The colors in this card surprised me! Who would have thought Old Olive and Pretty Peacock would look good together?

Cherry Cobbler, Basic White,  Joyful DSP and Gold Adhesive Glitter paper combined with Handcrafted Elements dies make this Z-Fold card very reproducible !

BoHo Blue and Basic White make this a quick and easy card.  Yes, both the top and bottom of the Snow Crystal stamped image are torn---remember when we used to do that? Wink of Stella and Silver ribbon add some sparkle.

A Fun Fold that's a bit different.  Using the Modern Garden Bundle and Garden Walk DSP, make this cute birthday card (or any other sentiment).  Poppy Parade, Calypso Coral, and Garden Green inks work perfectly for this card.  Yes, you do need to fussy cut the flowers and leaves!

Rustic Crate Autumn Card

 Fall is finally here and the Rustic Crate bundle from the Sept-Dec Mini is such a great set for the season. The background layer is a gorgeous copper foil paper from All About Autumn DSP. We made this at my last class and it was a big hit! All About Autumn Designer Series Paper adds the wooded effect needed for the crate. Using blends to color in the basket items, finishes the look.

Handcrafted Elements

Looking for something sparkly with a WOW to it?  Using the Adhesive Backed Glitter paper with Tartan Foil DSP will give you just that. Since the Glitter paper is sticky on the back, it simplifies attaching it to cardstock.  This Z-fold card was designed by Susan Campfield and she has an easy to follow video.  The Go to Greetings stamp set adds variety and different sized and fonts.  The Handcrafted Elements Dies are a hidden beauty in the Sept-Dec 2023 mini.  Let me know if you want to know more.

Pick of the Patch

Pumpkins come in all different shapes and sizes.  Pick of the Patch is a versatile stamp set that can used in lots of different colors.  To go with the pumpkins, there is a Builder Punch that will also give you a leaf and stem.  **Tip** to make punching easier, first punch out all the shapes on a post-a-note and then use that as your mast to stamp.  All your shapes will then be lined up with the punch.  Questions/ideas--email me at inkyfingers_36@yahoo.com.
