Boardwalk Fun

It's already April!!!  This is the last month you can order from the current catalog and Jan-April mini.  Having spent last weekend in Santa Monica, we got to enjoy  spending time with family (and a 2-month old grand baby) at the boardwalk.  It was sad to say goodbye.

Seemed appropriate to display a double z-fold card featuring the boardwalk and Ferris wheel.

Pop-Up Bunnies

What a beautiful Saturday it is.  I've been spending the past couple of days out in the sun watching by 16 yr old granddaughter play soccer in a college showcase.  Yesterday, in the 2nd game, she scored 2 goals + a penalty shot goal!!  So proud of her.  Don't forget -- for every $50 ordered, choose a FREE bundle from my list;  go to my blog--susiereno.blogspot.com and click on the BoGo Bundle page; after you place your order, let me know which bundle you'd like from the list.  :) Shop HERE

It's warmer than normal here in the desert.  We're in the 80's and will be in the 90's next week!  What happened to Spring???  This bunny card should help me stay in the "Springy" mood.  These bunnies are so cute and I love how they peek out of the card.  Thanks to Wendy Lee for the great idea.  The Easter Joy DSP gave me lots of choices for card fronts.  My ladies in the Beginning Card Class at the Anthem Center had so much fun making these.  I got lots of "ohs and ahs."

The All in a Row Embossing Folder add just the bit of texture needed.  When popping up the bunny, use Dimensionals on the top half of the bunny;  Attach the frame with adhesive strips to match the bunny.  Lots of possible combinations.

Easter Bunnies Card

Happy Friday My Friends!!!  Bunnies are always cute and this card shows them off.  Thanks to Terri Gaines for the inspiration!  The All in a Row Embossing Folder adds just the right amount of texture the card.  The bunnies are stamped in Smokey Slate ink to soften the bunnies.  Color is added only to the ears and nose.  Balmy Blue Gingham Ribbon finishes off the look of the card.  You can always add a sentiment to the inside to highlight whatever occasion you wanted.

Something Different----BOGO BUNDLE SALE!!

Beautifully Celebrated Easel Card

I was in the mood for something different and this is what I turned to--an Easel Fold.  (Also, people are always asking for sympathy/get well cards). The card folds easily into an envelope, but can be made to stand up on the table when displayed.  Just use a piece of card stock, cut 4-1/4" x 11"; score on the long side at 1-1/4" on one end, then at 6-1/2" in the middle of the card base.  Score diagonally from the top right corner to the 6-1/2" score and you get a diagonal line.  Be sure to use your bone folder on all score lines to get a crisp fold.

Cut both DSP and White card stock to 4x4" for the front and inside of the card.  A leaf is propped up with dimensional to hold the easel in place.  Be sure to only add adhesive to the bottom right triangle of DSP (I forget the first time I did it).  The Beautifully Celebrated dies are nesting dies, so you have lots of sizes to use!

Sunshine & Tulips

Happy Friday (and it's a Holiday Weekend, too)---I'm ready for flowers and trees to start blooming!  While tulips tend not to grow here in the desert, I still enjoy seeing them.  This Sunshine & Tulips card was inspired by Terri Gaines.  It's a pretty easy card to make.  All the tulips are die cut one time and you end up with the base for the card.  This bundle has lots of possibilities.  After I die cut the tulips frame and stamped the leaves, I embossed it with my new favorite embossing folder--Beautiful Pattern.  It just gives it a nice texture.  Oh, and this bundle is in the 2026 Jan-Apr Mini.
