Stamping on Vacation? Of Course!

Even though I'm in Kauai, I still need to get ready for the SU Convention mid-July.  So of course, I'm stamping my swaps.  Here is a pic of what it will look like.  I'm using the current and new In Color DSP so I'll have lots of variety in colors.  Just use the coordinating ink and ribbon.

So thankful to be in a beautiful and relaxing place. When we fly from here to Nor. Brights Blossom Bookmark

Every month Stampin' Up! sends their demonstrators a great magazine full of ideas and tips.  For March, they had the "how to" on making this bookmark.  This card was inspired by the design from Mary Fish's website (one of my favorites) and tweeked it using the new products from Summer Smooches--which is a sneak peek from the upcoming 2012-13 catalog coming out in June.  Summer Smooches will be available to you beginning April 1st.  Not only did I use products from Summer Smooches, but also the new Simply Scored Diagonal Plate (do you have yours yet?).  Notice too that the background  is done with the Stripes Textured Imbossing Folder--you can get this item FREE with a $50 order during SU's Sale-a-Bration (end 3/31/12).  My Inkyfingers group had fun making this at our monthly meeting.  See all the Summer Smooches Details.

Spring, Please Come Soon

Are you ready for the beautiful colors of Spring?  I am.  Here in the High Desert, we can get some beautiful colors and I am ready for them.  This card inspired by Pam Washburn definitely puts me in a happy mood.  I'm finding that the set, "Mixed Bunch" is one of my favorites from the Occasions Mini.

Are you ready for Spring?  I am--looking forward to all the color, especially the flowers.  This is a super easy card to make that would brighten anyone's day.

A Little Twist

Don't you just love it when a new and different use for a SU die is found?  I know I do---In this card, the Labels Collection Framelits Die is used to create the shape at the top of the card.  What a clever idea---(not mine).
