Heart Framelits

Yes, Valentine's Day has come and gone for the year, but it's still a nice idea to show someone special that we care about them.  Try this twist on a cool stamping tool---Heart Framelits.  The end result will be a beautiful stamped card.  I'm always excited when another use for a Stampin' Up! product is found.  Thanks to Pam Miller for sharing this idea she got from LeeAnn Greff.

Technique:  To get this soft edge look, make a "sandwich" from your Big Shot in the following order---top to bottom:
  • 2 Standard Texturz Silicone Rubber Pads
  • Clear Acrylic Plate
  • Framelits or Edgelits with cutting edge up
  • Card stock to emboss
  • 2 Standard Texturz Silicone Rubber Pads
  • Multipurpose Platform--all tabs used
One additional tip--to get the "Wonderful You" to pop up over the hearts and down on the ends. double stack dimensionals over the hearts in the center.  Then use mini glue dots or SNAIL adhesive on the ends.  This gives the card lots of dimension and keeps the sentiment in place.

Supplies:  Stamps--Curly Cute; Cardstock--Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler; Ink--Cherry Cobbler; Accessories--Scallop Trim Border Punch, Big Shot Framelits-Hearts Collection, Silicone Rubber Pads, Big Shot, Dimensionals, Pearls.
